What is Next Steps?
Next Steps is four sessions to help newly saved Christians to continue their spiritual growth development:
Step One: Believing “Basic Discipleship”–this session helps new believer’s develop habits that every believer needs to become a devoted follower of Jesus Christ.
Step Two: Belonging “Church History”–This session help new comers to become better acquainted with Living Hope Church. This includes LHC history, beliefs, structure and By-laws.
Step Three: Becoming “Spiritual Gifts”–This session helps believers to discover and identify their passion and spiritual gifts.
Step four: Building “Serving”–This session is designed to introduce an area of service on a Grow Team at LHC.
Grow Teams:
Purpose of Grow Teams:
Here at Living Hope Church, Grow Teams is a place where you can get involved and help by making a difference by serving others. Our goal is to help you find a Grow Team you will love to serve in. By serving others you will grow individually while you help the church grow collectively.
Grow Team Opportunities:
Ministry Team: Alter worker, discipleship.
Maintenance Team: Building & Grounds maintenance work.
Greeters: Create a comfortable environment for guests. Get contact information.
Hope Kids: Nursery worker 0-3, Preschool 4-6 & Juniors 7-11
Community Outreach: Nursing Home Ministries, Supporting Claiborne Animal Shelter, Claiborne County Family Justice Center and School Supplies.
International Mission Outreaches: Providing financial assistance.
Connect Groups:
What is a Connect Group?
Connect Groups is made up of people who meet together to share life’s up’s and down’s. Where people spend time at the park, have lunch together or studying the Bible together. Connect Groups are people meeting together and living in community as God designed.
Connect Groups available: Adult Sunday School, Men’s Fellowship, Women’s Ministry, Wednesday Nigh Bible Study, Ladies Night Out, Small Groups and Fellowship Meals.
Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. 10 If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 (NLT)
